First-Generation Celebration Week

This year's theme, "Legends Begin with Firsts," is dedicated to positioning and supporting our first-generation students as future Tiger legends. As a cornerstone of LSU’s commitment to first-generation success, this week continues to foster community, provide informative resources, and generate insightful conversations amongst the students, faculty, and staff of our broader LSU community.

 

Open Call For Proposals

The FirstGen Forward Team is currently accepting proposals from campus partners interested in hosting an event during this year's celebration week. The deadline to submit is Friday, October 3, 2025.
